Common Name | DH-PKW | |||
Description | The selected 'DH PKW' genotype belongs to the Musa balbisiana species that contributed the B-subgenome to cultivated allotriploid bananas. This is a doubled-haploid (DH) from M. balbisiana 'Pisang Klutuk Wulung' DH-PKW produced through anther culture and spontaneous chromosomes doubling (Assani A at al., 2003). This is the result of a project led by CATAS and BGI in collaboration with CIRAD. This reference genome was obtained by PAC Bio, Illumina and HI-C technologies and published in the following article: Wang Z, Miao H, Liu J, Yao X, Xu C, Zhao S, Fang X, Xu B, Jia C, Wang J, Zhang J, Li J, Xu Y, Wang J, Ma W, Wu Z, Yu L, Yang Y, Liu C, Guo Y, Sun S, Baurens FC, Martin G, Salmon F, Garsmeur O, Yahiaoui N, Hervouet C, Rouard M, Laboureau N, Habas R, Ricci S, Peng M, Guo A, Xie J, Li Y, Ding Z, Yan Y, Tie W, D’Hont A, Hu W, Jin Z.
